2025

With Navique, the company presents itself under a new brand. Today, it stands for structured data strategies, standardized methodology, operational execution, and digital autonomy as a trusted partner for forward-looking organizations.
2024

Scigility employs over 30 professionals with deep expertise in data strategy, engineering, analytics, and governance. New projects emerge in energy, the public sector, and healthcare.
Preparation and execution of a repositioning and comprehensive rebranding: development of a new brand identity, refinement of the portfolio, and focus on holistic data and analytics strategy consulting in the age of artificial intelligence.
2023

Focus on data-strategy consulting with high-profile engineering

Scigility expands its focus beyond technology to strategic advisory on data value creation, digital organization, and data-driven business models from a CDAO (Chief Data and Analytics Officer) perspective.
2020

Technology partnerships and methodological foundation.

Building strong partnerships with leading platform providers such as Microsoft, Databricks, AWS, and Snowflake. At the same time, further development of the Scigility Modern Information Platform into a standardized multi-cloud data container architecture.
2018

Founding of Scigility Holding AG, Scigility Switzerland AG, and Scigility International GmbH based in Vienna.

Scigility continues to grow and expands its service portfolio to include analytics enablement, data governance, and strategic data management. The company evolves into an end-to-end data partner in Switzerland and Austria.
2016

Opening of the Zurich office to better serve clients in the German-speaking region and to attract new talent in a dynamic innovation environment. Publication of the standard work: Big Data - Fundamentals, Systems, Potential Uses.

Scigility develops a big data platform architecture for regulated industries. This results in a modern information systems approach that takes into account the new requirements of the GDPR. The approach contributes to several legal publications, including Olivier Heuberger’s doctoral thesis.

2013

Dr. Daniel Fasel founds the company under the name Scigility. The focus is on data-intensive solutions and platforms in the field of big data.
